Definition of "Adjacent Channel" |
A frequency band immediately above or below a band of frequencies being used [as a channel]. Two or more analog communication paths spaced near each other. / In broadcasting an adjacent channel is an AM, FM, or TV channel that is next to another channel. First-adjacent is immediately next to another channel, second-adjacent is two channels away, and so forth. / A bus (related to the Latin omnibus, meaning "for all") is a communication system that transfers data between components inside a computer, or between computers.
