Definition of "Eddy Current Loss" |
Losses caused by random current flowing in the core of a transformer. Power is lost in the form of heat. / Power loss in magnetic materials due to eddy currents. The iron ions in the two coordination sites exhibit different spins, resulting in magnetic behaviour.
