Definition of "Fuse Link" |
A part of a fuse, which comprises a fuse element and a cartridge (or other container) and is capable of being attached to the fuse contacts fusing current This is the minimum current that will cause the fuse element to heat up melt or blow. / The current carrying portion of a fuse that melts during an over-load. An item which forms the replaceable fusible element of an electrical fuse and is prefabricated to a specific size and rating. / A replaceable fuse element used in a Fused Cutout. / used in nonerasable programmable memory devices.
