Definition of "I/O Bank" |
An I/O bank is a group of input/output blocks. All pins placed in a particular I/O bank must have compatible I/O standards. For example, a pin with an I/O standard of LVCMOS25 cannot be placed in the same I/O bank as a pin with an I/O standard of LVCMOS18. PACE allows you to check for incompatible pins using a design rule check. / Protection tube, as their name implies, are used to protect sensors, usually thermocouples, from contaminating atmospheres and/or mechanical damage. Closed on one end and open on the termination end they usually incorporate some means by which the tube, sensor, and terminal are assembled and mounted into the process. |
