In Boolean algebra, combining a quantity with itself either by logical addition or logical multiplication will result in a logical sum or product that is the equivalent of the quantity (for example, A + A = A; A x A = A). / Idempotent law is the property of certain operations in mathematics and computer science, that can be applied multiple times without changing the result beyond the initial application.
