In signal theory, the noise floor is the measure of the signal created from the sum of all the noise sources and unwanted signals within a measurement system, where noise is defined as any signal other than the one being monitored. / In fiber-optic communications, wavelength division multiplexing is a technology which multiplexes a number of optical carrier signals onto a single optical fiber by using different wavelengths,that is, colors of laser light. / the lowest input signal power level which will produce a detectable output signal in an electrical system.
