A component that contains more than one thermocouple, and used to convert thermal energy into electrical energy. / A thermopile is an electronic device that converts thermal energy into electrical energy. It is composed of several thermocouples connected usually in series or, less commonly, in parallel. / Number of thermocouples used in series to create a higher voltage. / Queueing theory is the mathematical study of waiting lines, or queues.
