Definition of "Unbalanced Line" |
A transmission line, such as a coaxial cable, in which the magnitudes of the voltages on the two conductors are not equal with respect to ground. / In electrical engineering, an unbalanced line is a transmission line, usually coaxial cable, whose conductors have unequal impedances with respect to ground; as opposed to a balanced line.
