Steel is an alloy of iron, carbon and other
elements in varying percentages. It is of two
types :-
1. Mild steel 2. High tensile steel Mild steel is used to manufacture rolled structural steel sections, rivets and bolts and is amenable to cutting, drilling, welding and machining etc. High tensile steel is used in the manufacture of cutting tools and where high strength is required . | |
