Millman's Theorem Millman's theorem states that in any network, if the voltage sources V_{1}, V_{2}, ... V_{n }in series with internal resistances R_{1}, R_{2},.... R_{n}, respectively, are in parallel, then these sources may be replaced by a single voltage source V' in series with R' as shown in Fig.(a). Here G_{n} is the conductance of the nth branch, figure (a) A similar theorem can be stated for n current sources having internal conductances which can be replaced by a single current source /' in parallel with an equivalent conductance.
