Definition of "Doppler radar" |
A Doppler radar is a specialized radar that makes use of the Doppler effect to produce velocity data about objects at a distance. / Voltage Controlled Oscillator is an electronic oscillator whose oscillation frequency is controlled by a voltage input. The applied input voltage determines the instantaneous oscillation frequency. Consequently, modulating signals applied to control input may cause frequency modulation or phase modulation. A VCO may also be part of a phase-locked loop. / radar-based technique used in measuring the velocity of a moving target or wind by measuring the Doppler shift (Doppler effect). |
