Definition of "Dry Cell" |
An electrical cell in which the electrolyte is not a liquid. In most dry cells the electrolyte is in the form of a paste. See Battery, also refer to Battery Manufacturers. / Dry cell is a type of chemical cells, commonly used today, in the form of batteries, for many electrical appliances. It was developed in 1887 by Yai Sakizo of Japan and patented in 1892. / Voltage standing wave ratio is the ratio of the amplitude of a partial standing wave at an antinode to the amplitude at an adjacent node, in an electrical transmission line. / DC voltage generating chemical cell using a non liquid (paste) electrolyte. |
