Ratio of the rms value to the average value in a periodic waveform. / The size of a piece of gear in length, width and depth. The defined size of an equipment chassis, PC board or rack or any other component. For example a a mother board as a particular size or form factor. It identifies the ratio of the direct current of equal power relative to the given alternating current. The former can also be defined as the direct current that will produce equivalent heat. / Mobile-Satellite Service is a general term referring to the selection of satellite phone providers available to private customers. It is a term analogous to PLMN, referring to wireless telephony cellular carriers, and PSTN, referring to traditional wire-based telephony. |
