Definition of "Glitch" |
General term used to describe an undesirable, momentary pulse or unexpected input or output. / An unintended short duration pulse. A random signal with a pulse duration that is much shorter than a clock pulse [as in glitch detection on a logic analyzer]. / In several usages in information technology, a glitch is a sudden break in function or continuity, sometimes of a transient nature, with a varying degree of seriousness. / Virtual Reality sometimes referred to as immersive multimedia, is a computer-simulated environment that can simulate physical presence in places in the real world or imagined worlds. / (1) an incorrect state of a signal that lasts a short time compared to the clock period of the circuit.
