Definition of "isotropic antenna" |
A theoretical, ideal antenna having a signal range of 360 degrees. It is used as a baseline for measuring a real antenna's strength signal, in dBi, where i represents Isotropic Antenna. / a fictitious reference antenna which radiates power equally in all directions. Such an antenna cannot be realized exactly in practice. |
