An instrument that has the capability of multiple line terminations. Most phones in offices which have six, ten, or more buttons are examples of key telephones. Each line can be accessed by depressing one of the buttons or keys. / An iButton is a microchip similar to those used in a smart card but housed in a round stainless steel button of 17.35mm x 3.1mm - 5.89mm in size depending on the function.
