Definition of "Pulse Width Modulation" |
[PWM] Pulse modulation in which the duration of the pulses is varied by the modulating voltage. / PWM Control of the width of pulses for the purpose of information transmission. / Pulse width modulation varying the amount of DC energy sent to a load or other device by changing the length of time a pulse is left on compared to when it is off. The wider the pulse, the greater the energy transfer. / Noise jamming enters the receiver via the antenna and increases the noise level at the input of the receiver. |
