Definition of "Q Band" |
The Q Band of the microwave part of the electromagnetic spectrum ranges from 33 to 50 GHz, corresponding to the recommended frequency band of operation of WR22 waveguides. These frequencies are equivalent to wave lengths between 9 mm and 6 mm. The E band is in the EHF range of the radio spectrum. / Operating signal are concise codes designed primarily for use by communication personnel in exchanging information incident to the handling of messages or in establishing communications. Communication personnel also use them in service messages. |
