Definition of "Stagger Tuning" |
Stagger tuning means that the tuned circuit consists of two parts, such as the primary and secondary of an RF transformer and each part is tuned to a slightly different frequency, one staggered from the other, hence the name. Stagger tuning widens the bandpass of the circuit so that it will accept wider signals or perhaps several narrow signals that are within the bandpass. / A frame check sequence refers to the extra checksum added to a frame in a communications protocol for error detection. Frames are used to send upper-layer data and ultimately the user application data from a source to a destination. |
