Waveforms can be created by either AC or DC current. / A disturbance that is a function of time or space. / In physics, a wave is disturbance or oscillation that travels through matter/space, accompanied by a transfer of energy. Wave motion transfers energy from one point to another, often with no permanent displacement of the particles of the medium that is, with little or no associated mass transport. / A condition of non-flatness. A fabricated piece of metal that is not completely flat and has a slight wave following the direction of rolling and beyond the standard limitation for flatness. / Frequency Division Multiplexing is a scheme in which numerous signals are combined for transmission on a single communications line or channel. Each signal is assigned a different frequency within the main channel. / electric, electromagnetic, acoustic, mechanical or other form whose physical activity rises and falls or advances and retreats periodically as it travels through some medium. |
