Conductance. Conductance is the reciprocal of resistance i.e. Conductance, G = 1/ R The SI unit of conductance is siemen (S). The conductance of a purely resistive circuit is its ability to pass current through it. The greater the conductance (i.e. the smaller the resistance) of a purely resistive circuit, the greater is its ability to pass current through it and vice-versa. | |
