CURRENT GAIN The ratio of output current to input current is called the current gain. Transistors can be used for three possible modes, i.e., CB, CE and CC. For each mode, two current gains can be defined as follows: (i) DC current gain it is defined as the ratio of DC output current to DC input current. (ii) AC current gain it is defined as the ratio of AC output current to AC input current
