Exponential form. According to Euler's equation : ejθ = cos θ + j sin θ Similarly, e-jθ = cos θ - j sin θ The trigonometrical form of representing a phasor V is V = V (cos θ ± j sin θ). Therefore, the phasor V may be represented in the exponential form as V = V e±jθ Here V is the magnitude (or modulus) of the phasor and ± θ (or argument) is the phase angle of the phasor from the reference axis (i. e.
