EXTRINSIC SEMICONDUCTOR When trivalent and pentavalent impurity is added to intrinsic semiconductor, the extrinsic semiconductor is obtained. When impurity is trivalent, a P-type semiconductor is obtained. If it is pentavalent, an N-type semiconductor is obtained. | |
