INDEPENDENT CONSTANT (DC) CURRENT SOURCE An independent constant (DC) current source has the following general form: INAME N+ N DC VALUE where INAME is the name of current source the arrow of current source is from N+ to N and VALUE is the constant current in amperes An example is given below: Is 0 2 DC 3 which means that the independent DC current source is connected between nodes 0 (reference node) and 2 having a current of 3 A. The arrow of current source is directed from node 0 to node 2
