Output Characteristics The plot of emitter current and collector-emitter voltage for various fixed values of IB The emitter current is taken along the Y-axis and the collector-emitter voltage is taken along the X-axis. Figure (a) shows a typical family of output characteristics for a N-P-N transistor in CC configuration. The output characteristics of CC configuration consists of three regions: active, saturation and cut-off.
