Owen's Bridge

Figure (a) shows the schematic diagram of Owen's bridge. Let L₁ is unknown inductance, R₁ is resistance of the unknown inductor, R₂ is variable non-inductive resistance, C₂ is variable standard capacitor, R₃ is fixed non-inductive resistance, and C₄ is fixed standard capacitor.
