RESONANCE IN PARALLEL CIRCUITS
At parallel resonance, it is seen that:
The admittance of the circuit is minimum and is equal to the conductance of the circuit.
The current drawn is minimum.
The phase angle between the current and voltage is zero, the power factor is unity.
The resonant frequency is given by if the resistance in the inductance and capacitance branches is negligible.
