Range. Circuit currents upto 100 A are handled by such wattmeters directly but for currents greater than this value, they are used in conjunction with current transformers (C. T.). Voltages upto 750 V are handled directly by such wattmeters but for voltages greater than this value, they are used in conjunction with potential transformers (P.T.).
