Standard SOP and POS Forms In the earlier expressions of SOP and POS, we have seen that all the individual terms do not involve all literals. For example, in the expression XY + YZ + ZX, the first term, second term and the third term do not contain the literals Z, X and Y or their complements respectively. On the other hand, in the expression (X + Y) (Y + Z) (Z + X), it is not a standard POS form. | |
