Truth Table Method

The steps involved are as under:

• Prepare the truth table for the given expression.
• For each term that has resultant truth value 1, obtain the minterm by taking the productof the variable, each of them in direct form if its value is 1, and by using its complement if its value is O.

The required expression is the sum of all these minterms.
