EBERS-MOLL REPRESENTATION OF BJT

The Ebers-Moll representation is drawn in the light of the previous discussion on the common base characteristics. The two diodes connected back to back are forward and reverse biased as shown in Figure (a). The rhombic representation indicates the controlled sources due to the interaction between emitter-collector junctions.
